Well not sure that lack of food providing was the problem there, but I might have misjudged it. Food usually helps me get in a better temper.

I suspect she has Ducks comeuppance already planned
A little list of those jobs you always meant to get round but don't
A hung over Duck will up bright and early, well not feeling to bright, but everything seems bright to him and it will be down to DIY store with instructions to build a pergola.
A couple of paracetamol, plenty of water and something to eat will ease the pain of hammering and drilling says Mrs Duck and off she goes for a coffee and cake morning with her friends, followed by a trip to a rather plush pond and a light lunch.
She will be back early afternoon to see how he is progressing
Mrs Duck is looking to having a *responsible drink* of gin and tonic in the pergola that evening, which she expects to be served with nibbles.
