They sound a lot less rowdy than the grey pidgeons we have out back. These are really beautiful and I hope they hang around. You and your dad were fortunate to run into one that was close enough to admire first hand.

Hello Elektra, I'm glad you like this pretty little dovey! I would like to see those grey pigeons of yours ... are they regular city pigeons (i.e. feral rock pigeons)? And I would also love to get to see cinnamon doves again. I'll try some time to go back and visit those forests ...

They are definately worth another visit.
