...but this does sound like it might be worth the effort of finding it.
Something of a companion piece to "Billy the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire", I imagine - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088807/ . Of course, the villain of that one was based on Ray Reardon, so maybe it's just a slightly updated version. Updates are so fashionable these days.

You know, the way my brain works, before I'd even read the body of your message I was thinking 'other films about snooker... Billy the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire... errr.... can't think of any others'.
In a perfect world this movie might change that, but I can't see it happening.

There's precious few about other gentlemanly sports too. Crown Green Bowls had Blackball, golf has The Legend of Bagger Vance, is there anything for darts?
