I'm not a motorhead but when the 50th Anniversary of the first Bond film happened, I thought to myself that someone should write a h2g2 article on Bond cars. And then later that day, at a garden centre, there was a book all about Bond cars. And later that week there was a Top Gear programme on TV all about Bond Cars, so it seemed like it had to be me who wrote it.

Hello BobStafford - good to see you around!

I've updated that little point (get it - little point!) about caltrops.

Is there room to mention that Prince Charles is a fan of the Aston Martin (he owns one). I remember his rage when Princess Diana sat on the bonnet (it was parked at the time) yet he lent it to his son for his first drive as a married mansmiley - biggrin

I've had a quick look online, and it seems that Prince Charles' car is an Aston Martin DB6 rather than a DB5, unless you know it is definitely a DB5? He does seem to own a few more recent models, though.

I confess I don't know the difference, I doubt I could tell an Aston Martin from a Jaguar smiley - sadface
