Can the contribution be something written, rather than photos or artwork?

I've just been asking people for , so write away! (Unless Lanza has objections?)

Let me see what I can come up with. A good hampster vacation would include tasty greens, some lively dancing, and one or more liaisons with
attractive hampsters of the opposite sex [unless there's something I'm missing about Elton's orientation.....

Please feel free to send Dmitri anything you want - it's up to Dmitri what he decides to publish in the Post. But the purpose of this challenge is send in photographs to the Artists. Writing about Elton's 'liaisons' without a photograph was not part of this challenge. Sorry.

On top of that I should like to say how much work Tavaron has put into producing the graphic of Elton.

The aim of this challenge is to receive photos of Elton, from all around the world. I am sorry if you don't want to do that.

But I am really looking forward to seeing the promised photos from as many participants as possible.

Lanza is right, this was intended to be a photo challenge with added stories about places that Elton sees on his travels. It would be great if you could do that.

In that case, we'll lay off the subject at . But I'll take all the book reviews I can get.

What threw me off was the "with added stories" part. I thought the stories were supposed to be in words.....

So please disregard whatever I've said here. I'll go off and work on something that might be more helpful.

Yes, of course we want stories *added* to the photos about places that Elton visits and what he thinks about them etc. Maybe we just misunderstood what you wanted to do.

I come in peace, my lame jokes notwithstanding. I hope I haven't insulted Elton. He richly deserves a nice vacation.

Hello, yes I have sent a picture of Elton with one of the Gold Postboxes that we are seeing in UK to celebrate the Olympic gold medals won in 2012. There is only one for each gold medal won so not that many and they are a bit of a tourist attraction at the moment.

I did one of the red and blue postboxes too. Red is normality in UK but the one I photographed is the bomb survivor one, too many people insisted on also being in the picture there though.

Yes I've seen your photos, many thanks Brown Furby. You get to have the prestige of being the first contributor to this challenge, so far. Elton looks to be enjoying himself, even if he was having wear a raincoat to protect him from the rain in Manchester!

Elton showed up in my dreams last night. He was in my china cupboard. Unfortunately, I didn't have a dream camera...
