Despite being someone with almost no knowledge or interest in sport I thought I'd write an Olympic-themed article in honour of the year. Here it is.

Gnomon - time to move on

This is good, Bluebottle.

One thing I'm not sure of. In the Asterix books, Caesar always addresses Brutus as "my son", but I don't think he is supposed to actually be his son. I think it is just a familiar title. Certainly the historical Brutus was not Caesar's son. But it may be that in the film, he is Caesar's son.

You shouldn't capitalise the small words at, the, and, of etc in film titles. You've done this in some places and not others, for example "Asterix at the Olympic Games" and "Asterix At The Olympic Games".

On the other hand, I think the "On" in Asterix and Obelix Take On Caesar" should be capitalised. Not sure why, but my hunches are right.

The items in the list of connections to other Asterix films should be surrounded by and to space them out better. This is normal when the list items are more than a single line each.

smiley - oribI've added a footnote to make it clearer that in real life he wasn't Cæsar's son, but the character in this film he is.

I do enjoy sub-editing your work, Bluebottle, although it can be hard work at times because there is just so much of it!

I've deleted the Brutus footnote and instead added it in a Historical Perspective section. I'd been undecided about whether to include a Historical Perspective bit or not, but in the end I've decided it helps keep the article in line with the other Asterix articles.

That Historical section is good, Bluebottle. There are just a couple of repeated phrases that you should eliminate:

"For a comic adaptation, Asterix at the Olympic Games is fairly historically accurate, with a few minor historical inaccuracies that in no way hamper the enjoyment of watching."

-- remove the word "historical"

"In real life Marcus Junius Brutus was not Cæ sar's son. Marcus Junius Brutus was the descendant of Lucius Junius Brutus" -- change the second use of Marcus Junius Brutus to "He".
