So, as you can see from the error message above, I was not logged in when I tried to reply to a post.

I think we have made a log entry about proper error handling on that one... But I'll have a check again

It's probably one of those Los Angeles cockroach bugs, huge and really hard to kill.

okay, that one happened while trying to post a bug report.

Strange, there shouldn't be a way to get to that part of the code without that element being populated

And what I was doing there was trying to report a different bug. Which is that I clicked on something in the Latest Activity section of the Front Page and ended up at the tree picture error message.

Were you logged in at the time?

I think so, because I had just posted to Lil's thread. After the error the screen saying login/register came up so I logged in again.

Well you did want testers, right?

I'll have to have a play around to see how to reliably replicate it.

Okay, so the order was:

1) Click on something on the Latest Activity that was something like A424242 - Something About Poetry

2) Land on tree error message

3) Try to report that on other tech forum

4) Get somewhat uglier error message

hahahahaha that should be easy to recreate
