I don't think that this is a bug but just in case
In topical entries Summer foods on the front page in goo there is an entry 'Lamb's lettuce'. When I click it comes up as 'there is no such entry'
On Front page in Pliny 'Lamb's lettuce' is not included in Topical Entries at all

That is weird peanut.
Lamb's Lettuce - A68054538 - most certainly exists. I can see it in Pliny, but not in Ripley.
As for it not being on the FP of Pliny, that was because I didn't add it to the list, the two versions are made separately.
I'll log this separately with Milla. Thanks for noticing

In brunel I get to pliny version of entry
If i just click on front page in brunel I get pliny front page
If I google 'Lambs lettuce' h2g2, I can read it in plain and alabaster but not in goo same error message
I can't find it in brunel to know

I have logged the Lambs lettuce issue.
Please log new issues separately, and start the title with BR, so I don't miss it.

I'm sticking this here because it not a bug, just reporting user experience
having to use my back button to retrieve posts after preview and while it posted, it said it didn't, wise to this one now, so no double posting from me because I check to see if it has before mashing the post button again
have to

Can I just ask peanut - do you mean that using preview made your post vanish? Cos this has happened to me once or twice. If it is that, I'll log it with Maria as a separate issue. I'd put my experience down to dodgy internet connection here.

when preview I got oops this website can't be found, I didn't lose my post though as the back button retrieves it
when I posted it said page can not be displayed but the post had posted
if I get this occasionally I put it down to internet but if it happens more regulary I report it as I think it might be signs Ripley feeling the strain and the disk might be getting full or something. I'm not sure if it is particulary useful to do that.

Hi Peanut - getting an error page when you want to preview a post is definitely a bug
I will log it as a Ripley bug - this was in Ripley, right? Otherwise let me know.

Thank you Milla
I'm always in goo, unless I say otherwise
I have noticed that there is mostly a pattern to the preview bug, quite often when I go back to my post if I try for a second time it blips up really quickly in preview. When I post it will always say can't display this page but it has always posted
If I am having this problem, I find that the site is generally a bit slow and glitchy. So for instance conversations won't always display first time.
