Who would I banish from the earth?
The head of drama/programming at ITV whoever he or she may be. The amount of mediocre acting/writing on ITV is just unbelievable. Unbelievable that so much of it exists!
I know me and Acharis could do better.

Praise for C4 for having guts to show 'ground-breaking and intelligent programmes.'
Praise for BBC2 for much of the same but not as consistent.
Channel 5...you're getting there slowly but surely.

But, but...ITV have given us such national institutions like Corrie & Emmerdale for decades now.
Now I can understand if it was the people @ their comedy department (despite giving us Harry Hill or 2DTV, when was the last time they gave us a funny sitcom?) or the people behind the dross that is Trisha or the folks who keep Lorraine Kelly on our TV screens... aren't there more pressing concerns?! I always thought drama was one of their strengths (except during the daytime!! ).

The fewer moron-baiting shows like Trisha on tv the better.

ITV can't produce a decent sitcom or drama because they're obessed with the thought of loosing or alienating their mainstream audience of low-brow spoon-fed idiots.

As a result they churn out an endless stream of piss-poor shite full of established names from various soap operas who have no real acting ability whatsoever.

ITV comedy? why would ITV need a comedy department while they still produce soaps?
