I'd be willing to look at the first towel day entry 400 times every month, to keep the numbers up.
Or would that be cheating?

'The Legend of Lost Wolverton' is an odd choice to gain in popularity - a long abandoned village next to marshland.
The area's been in the news twice lately, so that might explain why. In early May a rare male bittern was heard at RSPB's Brading Marshes (there were only 11 male bitterns in Britain in 1997). To celebrate in late May the Isle of Wight Council gave permission for an area nearby to become a building site so 60 lodges can be built on reclaimed marshland (although some more land has been donated to the RSPB and they get a free visitor centre).

Greetings Stats Fans! Here's the Mid-June Report
Stats are down again - there were 70,000 unique users compared to 75,000 in the previous period, and 306,000 page views compared to 329,000 in the previous period but people are still viewing 3.5 pages per session on average.
More fascinatingly unusual Entries trended this time, in addition to the usual suspects. Isaac Newton was particularly popular on 5 June, and The Comic Operas of Gilbert and Sullivan trended on 10 June. Theories of Human Motivation and the theme tune to the Big Bang Theory also saw impressively increased numbers of views this time! These theories may or may not be connected by another theory...

I'll give it a try
Gilbert and Sullivan's Major general's song" mention binomial theorem, which Isaac Newton was the first to outline.
When the apple fell on Newton's head, was he motivated to devise a theory of gravity?
In 1916, Einstein's theory of relativity generalized Newton's theory of gravity.
As for May statistics, Newton's "Principia" was p[ublished in May, 1687, 341 years ago.

Newton was first with calculus, but it seems the binomial theory was known to the Indians a thousand years earlier.
Newton, the story goes, was inspired by the fall of an apple (not on his head) to consider why the moon doesn't fall to earth. He calculated the speed of the moon's orbit (its distance had already been found) and concluded that its gravitational pull was finely matched to its velocity so that it neither fell nor escaped into space.

Gilbert and Sullivan?
Here's a howdy do.
Visitors are few.
When they're here, see Isaac Newton,
Donald Trump and Vladi Putin.
Have they lost a screw?
Have they gone cuckoo?
here's a howdy do! <

Those stats really invite me to come back and write for the Guide.
But I said I wouldn't until someone spends 5 minutes applying the fixes I identified to three bugs in the system.
