I guess neither the Danish nor the British will be present, Sho, but I am also willing to drink to the Swedish, the Norwegian, heck even Thailands smiley - cheers

Back in olden times it was customary to drink to the majesty's health. We can do that to both absent and present queens smiley - cheers

In the old guild "Sankt Knuds Gilde" in Flensburg (founded 25. June 1170) it is also customary to drink to "die Mässigkeit" (temperance)

Shortly after followed by a drink to "die Regel-mässigkeit" (regularity) smiley - cheers

>>obviously I include any region where good wines, good food, and good beer is made.<<

For me, the most important is good company. The rest pale into insignificance.

Had a mix of good friends and 'iffy' food, but still had a great time.

Here's to a great weekend, as always.
