It's the age-old winekey/winkey confusion yet again.

Back in olden times it was customary to drink to the majesty's health. We can do that to both absent and present queens

In the old guild "Sankt Knuds Gilde" in Flensburg (founded 25. June 1170) it is also customary to drink to "die Mässigkeit" (temperance)

Shortly after followed by a drink to "die Regel-mässigkeit" (regularity)

mmm.. 15th - 16th June 2013 ...

I remember the North of France produces a few interesting beers ..

It is quite a good region for beverages. And food. In particular if you include Luxembourg, Alsace, Lorraine and parts of Germany

Tonight I had a very mediteranean - er - diet (includes pasta and )

Tomorrow I could go for some choucroute and sausages and

hmm.. for the first few days I'll have camel steak and hummus ..

and no

I could do with a slice of stuffed camel hump

For me, the most important is good company. The rest pale into insignificance.

Had a mix of good friends and 'iffy' food, but still had a great time.
