Fraeya Posted Nov 26, 2004
why is it i dont particuarly respect the opinion of someone who names himself after a variety of cabbage? particularly one that everyone who isnt me seems to hate.
and the thing i have to use agaisnt you deano as you clearly cant be bothered to read as well as spell the words 'you' and 'two' is that i got full marks, 150/150 on my year 10 module for my science

fraeya, i am more than willing to go down the 'who got better results than whom' road, but unless you are planning on doing better than 7 A*s and 3 As then don't waste my time. And for a little pre-GCSE-exam challenge, see if you can beat 228/228 in GCSE English Coursework... or 40/40 in Maths coursework... or 30/30 in any science coursework... the list could go on and on...

My mate got 10 A*s and 4 As. Just thought you might like to know that, dear.

DJR Posted Jan 4, 2005
well congratulations are due for him/her! there you go fraeya - beat that!

Thin Lizzy Posted Jan 16, 2005
Why does she have to, when my mate's already managed to outswagger you!

DJR Posted Jan 18, 2005
life is riddled with targets. if you don't set your targets high, you sure as hell won't achieve them.
MRLP
DJR Posted Jan 18, 2005
just to clarify, when i say "you won't achieve them", i mean 'you won't achieve high grades', - you'll only achieve high grades if you set yourself high targets.

go you friend lizzy! lol and why is is i thik your exaggertaing a tiny little bit on those results...ohh possibly because the science coursework is rigged so you cant get full marks on any of the modules. i.e. if you gt all your results perfect so you have full marks for observation, then you cannot say in your evaluation what went wrong and why, so miss that mark, but if you do get someting wrong, you can get full marks on your evaluation, but not your observation. so i think you may possibly be lying.
anyway, ig got all As and A* for my mocks apart from english so and i intend to get all A*s in the real thing so i do have high targets, ok high and mighty one? me and lizzie do just as well as you and we dont got to some school you have to pay to go to.

what makes you think I do? I had the opportunity to go to one (namely Sevenoaks School) - I even got a scholarship there (getting myself mentioned in The Times). But frankly, people who go to private schools are the children of intelligent parents who, most likely, went to a state school. And it is more than likely that their children will go to a state school too.
So Fraeya, don't make accusations you can't back up, and don't make assumptions about people when you don't know anything about them. The Judd School is not for rich snobs, but for clever boys who could not afford Tonbridge School, but had the capability to make something of themselves regardless of their wealth. It is just as it always has been and always will be. If you don't believe me, go to www.juddschool.org.uk

Thin Lizzy Posted Feb 28, 2005
Did you decline the scholarship simply because the parents of those pupils are intelligent and had state education? Because I think that would be a very shallow reason to decline something like that. But hey! What would I know? I only got eleven and a half GCSEs and three AS levels so far.

so how come you mentioned you went to a posh school before? and you dont deny that you cant get ful amrks for science! whoohoo!
go lizzy! you're in year 13 now arent you?

DJR Posted Mar 9, 2005
My school may be fairly posh but that's because it is a Grammar School, and, more importantly, it is in Kent, where everything seems 'posh'.
No, Lizzy, the main reason is that paying £20,000 a year for education is an abomination when there are Grammar Schools as good as mine and several others where you can get education for free. Fine, my school is selective, but it is on your ability, not how rich your parent are.
And just for you, Fraeya, I did not get full marks in my Science Courseworks - I got 29/30 for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Of course this is doing Triple Science.
Although now you mention it, all three were sent to be moderated and all three were given an extra mark...
So, as you so eloquently put it, I do deny that I can't get full marks for science. and english. and maths. [though not geography]

except deano. how come you only ever reply to conversations when we have a go at you?

DJR Posted Mar 28, 2005
lizzy - you're right - most suburban towns in kent are full of filthy pikeys who are anything but posh and they should all be rounded up and deported one by one. namely dartford, maidstone, chatham, gillingham, high brooms etc...
and no, fraeya, i'm not posh. in fact, i'm not even close. if you ever saw me you'd probably thing I was an asylum seeker, and then if you heard me speak you'd think I was a cockney. so no, i'm not posh. i've just had a damn good education. at a state school. for free.
the reason i reply when you have a go at me is because i am a very argumentative person so any opportunity i have to argue i jump at. the reason i rarely otherwise reply is because i couldn't give a flying f*ck about any of the other crap you two talk about. if its something that interests me then i let you know.
