smiley - blush I'd say this calls for some celebratory fruitcak. Anybody like a piece?

Last month there was a story in our local newspaper about a fruitcake that's been passed around among the members of a local family since *the late 1940s*! No one bothers to refrigerate The Fruitcake while they have custody it, and because we have hot summers around here, by now the cake is about a quarter of its original size and smells musty and slightly spicy, sort of like old sweatsocks sprinkled with nutmeg. smiley - ill

It's traditions like this that make the holidays so special... smiley - silly

Thank you, thank you. smiley - smiley Hmm, the fruitcake diet. Lots of fruit and nuts, plus a bit of alcohol; why, it's practically health food! smiley - silly
