I don't think TLC is as good, because the characters are not as deep, but its still funny.
Tricky trying to describe to someone who hasn't seen it. Whilst whats written betters what I could do, I still feel it misses out the levels of interaction between the characters.
Suggestion What about some of the features of a typical episode - the "war" between medical and surgical - Elliot's dysfunctional family - JD's fantasy/nightmare sequences.
I dunno - its a difficult one to write up, I think I would have gone through a typical episode, and as each charcter appeared given there characteristics as footnotes. But that would mean completely re-writing it.
Not being very helpful here am I ?

I like the entry
Just a typo I spotted though ->
>>A lazy reviewer might would describe Scrubs as "a comedy version of ER."<<
err... "might would"?
But hey, what's a typo really? Just a collection of letters strung together...

theres a lot more to be said about the characters. doctor cox is one of the best sitcom characters in history, for instance, and mroe needs to be said of his complexities. in fact, more needs to be said about all of them, and also more needs to be discussed of the series, likehow the humour works, and the surreal dream sequences and whatnot...

Saying something about Dr Cox caring about the patients and Dr Evil (the old boss guy ) caring about money could be good...I've just seen the episode where the have a dual with lightsabres - very good description of them - Darth/Obi Wan...

Still working on this one bagpuss? For the record, I think TLC is better, if only because the characters are nasty buggers, and there's no irritating 'heart-warming' message at the end

Working on it in the braod sense of not having finished it, yes. I'm meaning to do it some time.
I've not seen TLC (is it UK or US? I forget where you are).

It's UK. It stars, umm, that bloke from Pie in the Sky, one of the League of Gentlemen, and another bloke who's name escapes me. Gosh, that was useful wasn't it?

I thought it was US. I know it's on here at 8:30 on NBC thursdays. This is considered one of the most turbulent timeslots of TV, multitudes of shows have come and gone from this slot, but only Scrubs brought in enough viewers.
Yeah, I like the show too.

Scrubs is US (the concerns over who has and hasn't got insurance should give that away), it was TLC we were discussing.
What's going on lately though? Past two weeks they're showing Friends instead.

Oh, I misunderstood. I've been watching Scrubs from the beginning, if you need some future clarification.

I think this entry is quite good, but I really do agree with whoever said that it needs something in the way of describing some typical episodes. After reading this entry I know a decent amount about the characters, and a little about the flavor of the show, but I know nothing about what *happens* on the show.
I've more or less stopped watching NBC, myself, as Friends and Will&Grace have plummeted down the commode...

Scrubs is the only show I watch on NBC.
I like the entry, of course it's impossible to picture the show well without having seen it, but overall nice job.
Bagpus, are you still working on this?

I like the programme and the entry is a good introduction but maybe it needs more detail, a link to the official website and maybe some of the best quotes from the programme. Good work though!
