Minor Correction

This is a very thorough article, however, there is one small correction that needs to be made. When Zooey talks to Franny on the phone in the story "Zooey," he pretends to be Buddy, not, as you say, Seymour. Since Seymour is dead at the time of this story, it is doubtful that Franny would believe it is him on the other other end of the phone. Since Buddy calling is much more likely, Zooey is able to convince Franny that he actually is Buddy for a while, which in my opinion is a very important element of the story.
