OK, I'll have a think about it first though. I may be quite some time as I'm up to my eyeballs in other things.

cool. And tell me what you think is too extreme or emotive and It'll be gone, or I can alter the headings. I want to show all views.

Hiya Werekitty
Sorry if I offeneded you with some of my last points, feel free to cut and paste anything I said in the last conversation forum into entry. I really didn't want to be confrontational at all.

I think anything I've posted in the previous conversation thread can go in. I may make a personal argument from my point of view as an entry first but I need to go and buy my Xmas cards for the year to begin with!

I think we should state the statistics, the benefits and the negatives, and the way the power given can be abused, measures to improve it and measures to stop it and current issues, what life is like being harassed by anti's and an anti's point of view. Ok?

Yup and there's alway's the deep ethical issues, ie. the value of animals in comparason to human's issue here. I think that the section about power could be one of the negatives.
Also I think there is a section on current legistlation in the UK which is rather strict should good. There should also be a section on research into alturnatives, the current use of alturnatives.. (you can get this stuff on the http://www.frame.org.uk/ website )

a link to how close humans and animals are? As one of mine? Like how we wouldn't vivisect a six year old but we would vivisect an animal of the equivalent intelligence. I too make this definition, but that's part of my insinct to protect my species and therefore it is natural specism.

I could try to write a summary of Peter Singer's arguments if you like. Specisism is one of his theories....

Good isn't it? apparently he's also said that if abortions ok then it should be ok to kill children up to 28 days old.. which really isn't so nice is it?
A740594 - The Ethical Issues With Vivisection
ex Brigadeer, now Tealady Werekitty aka Tobru De'ran; ex sith extraordinaire, well poked veggie fascist and Goo Goose Posted Dec 13, 2002
that's illogical coz the equivalent of a chickens time in the womb is as long as it's in it's egg. What's his argument for it?
A740594 - The Ethical Issues With Vivisection
Z Posted Dec 13, 2002
No children, as in human children! his argument is that if it's ok to kill animals then it's ok to kill human's when they are no more advanced that animals I think.
