I've a question for you.

I heard a phrase a while ago I've not heard since I were a bairn.

Leet gee'un (I think it's spelt)

Does anyone know what the heck it means?

Context? Area? If it's a hard G it could be summat like "Let's get on."

It is a hard G, Cleckhuddersfax area and in the context of an old lad who'd forgot how old he was as far as the ladies are concerned, if you catch my drift.

I have been watching reruns of the series of The Last of the Summer Wine from the very first series. Howard is still chasing after Marina and Aunty Wainright is still being crafty. I love watching the ladies at their coffeemornings with their gossip and the lads escaping from them with their adventures.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

Any danger of getting a smiley - stout in 'ere then?

Auntie Wainwright was never in't first series was she? All I remember about it is Blamire, Compo and Clegg, and them two who were carryin' on at the library, and Sid and Ivy from't cafe, and Nora and Wally Batty. It took a dive after Michael Bates passed on and Foggy Dewhurst joined up. Although I liked Brian whatsisface as Mr Barraclough in Porridge, he didn't really do it in Last of't Summer Wine.

Aunty Wainright was on a lot later with Foggy aka silent but loyal and deadly warrior as Foggy sees himself and kept on boasting about his imaginery battles.
