Doesn't work on my keyboard I'm afraid (glad realy I wouldn't remember it anyway)
Getting back to insurance costs I've not only come to the conclusion I'm in the wrong area, I think I'm in the wrong country aswell.
$150 is less than I was paying for car insurance 20 years ago.

$198/$150
It's all relative realy
I would be happy to pay either or even both together.
My car insurance is around £380/$710 (for an old chuggaboom) that's with full no claims.
The bike around £800/$1500
I think I'll have to see if my firm has any vacancies in the States
The £/$ convertions are rough but very close to actuality.

It seems to me that the cost of insurance is rougher!
And after all that dosh they have the cheek to treat you like a liar when you make a claim!!

They all like to take your money but when it's time to pay out on a claim they squirm and wriggle and try to look for a way of not paying out (b4st4£ds).
The trouble in this country though, the rate of theft is atrocious and too little seems to be done by the courts to curb it.
And they wonder why so many people go round without insurance when the premiums are so high.

I have just insured my bike through Bennetts, £105, over £100 cheaper than all the other insurers I tried.

I know that buying power works
i.e. Buy lots and you can sell lots cheaper with a smaller profit margin
But it still makes me wonder that I can get bike insurance cheaper(relatively that is)from a broker who gets it from another broker who then gets it from the underwriters, than I can get it from the broker who bought it direct from the underwriters in the first place.
And the difference is over £100 in my case.
I did get a quote from Bennetts but they were one of the most expensive, they wanted over £1200 where as I have now got it down to £725 (bit of a difference don't you think?)
It just goes to show you folks, shop around.
