Imhotep: the first individual in history?
Mat Lindsay (the researcher formerly known as Nylarthotep...now he has a name, all he needs is a face) Started conversation Sep 2, 2002
Imhotep was more than just a physician. He was an innovator in many fileds including architecture and the tombs that he built for the royal dead established the processes that underpinned all pyramid construction in the nation of Egypt's history. Imhotep stands out as possibly the first individual recorded in the annals of ancient history because of his own achievements rather than by virtue of social rank or position, possibly the first "individual" in human history.
