I think it would be fair to say that humans tend to organise themselves into groups based on all sorts of characteristics, and that not all atheists are recovering theists. All that stuff about tarring with the same brush, eh?

I just reread what I wrote - it's been sitting around for about a month, while I kept replacing it with something else, and I couldn't honestly remember what I'd said - and you're right.
One sentence in there is badly phrased, and should have said, 'Based on the feedback from this website, atheists are...'
Not enough qualifiers.
