I didn't say I didn't like him, I just said I'd never really warmed to him. I enjoyed Seven, but didn't think he was anything special in it. Nor was he spectacular in Thelma and Louise, which I didn't enjoy quite as much (then again it is a Ridley Scott production).

Now that I think of it I haven't seen him in a huge amount... those two, Ocean, Interview with the Vampire (thought he was a bit whiny), Twelve Monkeys (I assume he got Oscar-nominated due to the rule that anyone famous playing someone with a mental illness automatically gets a nomination)... hang on...

Hmm, forgot he was in Being John Malkovich... says it all, really...
And True Romance... And he wasn't *quite* outacted by a cartoon in Cool World. I mean, he's pleasing to the eye, probably, but I don't think he has much presence on-screen.

Then again I have a thing about Gwyneth Paltrow so maybe I'm just afflicted with lingering jealousy...

did you see him in 'meet joe black' as death.

he was great! so scary.

pretty bad film ion some respects, the ending and the daughter and all that get on my wick,

i just loved his version of death, especially to start with.

he just stands there for ages and you never know quite what he is going to do.

i liked him in IWtV and twelve monkeys but i havent seen seven. like my lunch to stay where it is.

are you doing a review/have you done one of The Others - that thing wiht Nicole Kidman, i heard it's one of the scariest movies out. but i shant be seeing it so i just wondered what your opinion was.

Well, put it this way: the showing I went to, at one point *everyone* in the cinema screamed and jumped out of their seats... Top film.
