Eggnog

Eggnog is a festive alcoholic drink, commonly drunk during the Christmas period. It has a smooth texture and is highly effective in removing any sign of soberness. It is easy to intake enough to get you legless without noticing due to its sweet, delicious flavour.
Ingredients
These ingredients are for one batch - enough to get about several people in the spirit!
- Six eggs
- One and a touch cups of sugar
- Half a teaspoon vanilla flavouring
- Couple of pinches of ground nutmeg (ground from whole nuts preferably)
- Three-quarter cup of brandy
- One-third cup dark rum
- Two cups of whipping cream (if not available use double cream)
- Two cups of milk
Directions
Tis best to have all the liquid ingredients chilled beforehand so refrigerate them beforehand (the brandy and rum may be placed in the freezer).
Beat the eggs for three minutes with an electric whisk at medium-high speed until they are very frothy.
Continue beating and gradually beat in the sugar, nutmeg and vanilla flavouring.
To blend in the brandy, rum, whipping cream and milk, either put the mixer at a very slow speed or blend in by hand.
Keep the egg nog chilled and for an added touch, sprinkle the servings with a touch of nutmeg.
