A Conversation for How to Escape Reality

The problem with reality is that it is real. Real things are not all bad. For example, if you really owned a Ferrari. The problems with most realities are that they are exceedingly dull. That is why we get strange books about short people with hairy feet. Most people want to escape whatever reality they are in. A lot of people who don't like real things are highly respected in society, For example: Monks, Drunks, Hobos (closely related to drunks), dogs, Star Wars fans, most drug addicts, babies and mental patients. The best way to escape reality though is to take a nap

Er.. sorry. You've met me on one of my 'deadly serious German' days
Could you please be so kind as to read the entry 'Peer Review' where this thread is hanging off before posting to it? There's lots of small print in there but the essence is that there are *rules* to obey.
Perhaps you'd study them and decide whether you'd like to write something for the http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/ThePost (h2g2's own magazine) or the Alternative Workshop (linked from the Peer Review entry). Those places don't have that kind of rules
