I can't say I've tried tying toast to a cat, but I have tried dropping toast with butter on both sides, and it landed standing up on the crust every time. The one time I also buttered the crust, it underwent Spontaneous Massive Existence Failure as soon as I let it go.
Now I'm toastless (not too mention hungry).

I'm not suprised you had to let it go. More like it slipped out from between your fingers due to all the butter on it. However, think yourself lucky. The existence failure could have happened INSIDE you, and then where would you be?

I'm trying to figure out where I would be, but I think my brain is undergoing existence failure. Luckily, since this is a three day weekend for us, I won't be needing my brain for a bit.

Unluckily this three day weekend terminated this morning with an exam. So in fact the three day weekend was a three day cram session.
