Obviously these guidelines are for the UK and probably the rest of Europe. In the US many states have a minimum age of 21 for drinking alcohol and what is a train?

Hi Foxglove,
These guidelines are primarily for people attending the official h2g2 meet-ups in London. However, we also intend them as being best practice for those who are attending the unofficial meetups that Community members hold around the globe. In which case we should amend the guidelines and point out that different countries have different age limits on alcohol consumption
By train, we mean railroad.

Americans call trains trains! I dont think they're used very often, but they're still trains.
... on a side note: America sucks! i'm 18 and I want my alcohol.
