Obviously, I've watched a little tooooo much Trek over the years.

First of all I thought, 'oh that's easy, it's Life of Brian'.

Then I thought, 'it's so obviously Life of Brian that no one has replied for four days'.

Then I thought, 'maybe it's not Life of Brian at all'.

And now I'm a welter of doubt (especially about the word 'welter').

Anyway, I was only thinking today how long it had been since we'd had a new quote, so thanks for the new quote DocWabbit.

Glad I could be of assistance. As far as the quote goes, you have the acting group right, but wrong movie. Try again, statistics is in your favor(there's only three more movies to choose from).

I do believe you are right. The line was given by Michael Palin, as a feudal serf of "an autonomos collection", while Graham Chapman is roghing him up as "Arthur, King of the Britons. I could never quite make the whole speech. So it is very likely, and most likely correct that the line reads repressed and not oppressed. Thanks for the correction.

Here's my next line then:

"I swear that kids head is like Sputnik, shperical and pointy at parts!"

Well, the movie stars a famous Saturday Night Live star. And the movie takes place in San Fransico. Maybe that will help.

I find I'm woefully vague on Saturday Night Live stars but the quote sounds like it could be Steve Martin... but surely his films tend to be set in L.A. And although I know that simply bags of films have been set in San Francisco, the only one that springs to mind currently is the second (and best) version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and I know it's not that. Trousers, I'm bereft of thought and thinking aloud to kid myself otherwise...
