I have no problem with charity money going abroad. Most appeals are quite clear about where money is spent and so people have a choice who to support. What I do have a problem with is government taking taxes and giving them to foreign countries. Taxes are taken or extorted from people who then have no say in where they are spent. I strongly object to money being taken from me and used to support countries where I would be discriminated against, jailed or worse because of my sexuality.
