Each time I try to post, I am told to enter my password again and again!!!
What is happening.
Hooto is also very, very slow!!!

Weekends are a treacherous time at Hootoo, I guess. The Italics are not on hand to reboot.

You can try logging out fully and logging in again - sometimes it gets stuck half way and needs to start the process again.

Try defragging and cleaning up you hard drive.

Your space would indicate that your is now over a year old.
Have you tried defragging and cleaning up the hard drive.

Hi Ancient Brit.
Usually request defrag every month or so. Software says 'no need to defrag at this time....(Still got 200Gs or so free!!)

This is _not_ a problem with your computer, GandalfsTwin, it is a problem with h2g2.

At the time the OP was posted I was flipping between h2g2 pages that said I
was logged in and others that said I was not. It was kinda 50/50; every other
page did not recognise me. I would have replied but the reply page said I
was not logged in even though the convo page said I was.

Thanks. I'm just being selfish - I don't make it online as much as I'd like, and having my space get irrelevant postings (I'm one of those subscribed here for the news) just means more to wade through when I do get here!
