One of the fixes hadn't gone onto the database - I've fixed it now, so the next posting should reset the number of posts back to normal - I hope.

That seems to have done it, Jim! It now says "no new posts" for the first time in months.

I just posted this in the other announcement thread - thanks for resetting the threads to no new posts again - it confused me for a while because my Nice Friendly Girls thread said 'no new posts' and when I checked for the three new posts that usually cause that they weren't there. After checking my other old threads, they had all been reset too

Yeah the N3 thread for The Thingites has been displaying "minus 56 postings" for ages now. We were beginning to think we'd broken the site.

I used to have -79 on the jokes thread, but they're gone

I used to have -215 in the NFG thread, seems to be fixed now though.

In the brunel thread (possibly others too) we no longer have out personal spaces listed as an article that we have written, I assume this was intentional with the new update.

I think that happened before. Yesterday I looked at a newbies page, and could not find it.

I must be nuts, "brunel thread", or maybe I was just asleep. I obviously meant Brunel Skin.

On the subject of when BST begins and ends, I have always found that it begins on the last weekend of October and ends on the last weekend of March, completely regardless of whether there is an equinox, an "R" in the month, or the dog's just chased the cat up a tree.

That gives us exactly 6 months of each "time".
