A Conversation for Castles

Post 1

Having just compiled a short treatise on Castle Cary's Castle (Somerset) I feel I must complain in the strongest possile terms at the inaccuracies within your entry. Castle Cary's Castle is neither built atop a cliff, nor a hill, nor a beach... but a slope. Thus enabling marauding vikings to split into two teams. Team 'A' would storm up the slope, thereby drawing attention away from Team 'B' who had surrupticiously sneaked round the back and were now careering headlong down the slope to attack the rear of the castle throwing axes all the way.
