Proper chaps, that's to say all round good eggs, "down since birthers" if you will, have no concept of 'enough' ... it doesn't translate into Chap you see ... as for 'too much' you might as well be speaking foreign through a tin of marzipan liver flukes while doing the cucaracha backwards in welsh ...

the concept of "too much" does have it's uses for the discerning, as in: Too much of a good thing is wonderful!

Ah, I see where you're coming from. Useful for helping Non-Chaps understand what a frightful predicament they must be in ... "too much" if you're a chap isn't conceivable ... "a lot", Yes. "oodles", naturally. "Too much"? I'm sorry could you say that again - I don't quite understand ...

I do believe I know the answer to this one Chaps. Hang on a tick !
*retires to the Club Library, by way of the anteroom (stepping over a recumbent and sozzled Filly en route) and removes a copy of "A Chaps Guide to Interacting with the Lower Classes, Servants, Down-at-Heel Types and Less Fortunate Peoples of the World" from the top shelf and returns to the lounge*
Here we go ! the entry for Too Much reads - "an expression not normally used by persons of good breeding due to the implication that a Chap had reached a point of satiation and therebye was inferior to the culinary or quaffing challenge at hand."
There I think that settles that, what !
Pip Pip !

why thats an incredible interpretation of "too much". From what I know, we are the people that always at the point of full saticfaction and our minds are simply are not tought of such things as "too much" or "not enough"

"Not enough" ... a phrase enough to bring tears to a mans eyes ... "I'm sorry, there's not enough Glen Wobble to go around ... some of you will have to have McLurchers" ...
Change that to "too much" and it just doesn't make any sense at all ...

LegersV007 Posted Jul 25, 2003
I agree, thats why we have a basement full of Glen Wobble that just never ends
