Past History:

Maybe twice in a thousand years are twins born among Schians. Even the Council of Elders doesn't fully understand the phenomenon, but even though two children are birthed they share the same mind. This is not in any figurative sense. Xan is one person inhabiting two bodies.

One of Xan's bodies was branded with a raven and is referred to as Ashan. The other is Ashar. Directly translated they mean right and left dagger respectively.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• As with all Schia Night Elves, Xan has a natural immunity to all known forms of Magik.
• Xan is rather fatalistic in nature. He tends to take larger risks than is necessary.
• Like many of his people he has come to believe that humanity is a plague. He disdains nearly everything about them and seems less and less inclined to help them as the years pass.
• Xan defies many of the general laws of shadow walking. While he cannot "step" precisely to any location, Ashan can always "step" to Ashar and vice verse. This has proved useful on many occasions.
• Xan has proven his worth with a bow on many occasions and is deadly in close combat. Ashar and Ashan can work together and individually with incredible fluidity. They are most formidable when side-by-side. Both are commonly clad in the traditional trileaf armor and color shifting cloak.

Availability

Xan is reluctant to perform any tasks for humans and many of the other "inferior" species. He is, however, one of the most dangerous assassins in his people's history.
