Like a Hall of Fame displaying the wind of change? I mean this cave could do with a bit of decoration, eh?

The Tits' Rules
Tits: Plastic Upsurgery
So, what are we responsible for? Let's collect what we could put up there.
* Links to non-English sites will be removed (F75100?thread=184172)
* Afghan Crisis Rules abolished (F78651?thread=191330)
* Modest Proposal implemented

How bout a spiky graph showing the ups and downs of the changes in policy on various dates? It would require a lot of judg(e?)ment calls by the creator of the chart. Not all TITS would agree on which changes have been positive or negative, or the degree to which they were + or -.
For example, this week we saw removal of any non-English postings (sinking, sickening), as well as the abandonment of the "Afghan Crisis" guidelines (positive motion, but were these guidelines ever enforced? Don't strain yourself patting them on the back for this one).

I think the easiest way to do it would be two columns, one for 'bits removed from the rules' and one for 'bits added to the rules'.

While we're at it... Maybe an extra column for 'Italics driven away by the SBVM'?

I thought the conclusion on non-English (and indeed English-dialect) postings was that they will remove what they don't understand, but that you can challenge the ruling.
In some respects this boils down to nettiquette, no?
Hoovooloo wins the gold star so far for not one change to the rules but two. Which has turned me into a super-intelligent shade of the colour green.

Oh, can we claim credit for dropping the silly 'copyright' rules where we weren't allowed to mention song titles?
Oh, and they scrapped the 'no tolerance for rudeness' policy very quickly, which was perhaps partly a result of minority pressure.
Key: Complain about this post
