Nooooooh! It's a really nifty kind of cheese slicer for hard (Edamer hard) cheeses (Not parmesan hard). It looks very goofy for the uninitiated...
When we lived in US, we found a load of them on sale for almost nothing, and the package suggested they had been acquired during the 50's... Onviously noone knew what to do with them. We were delighted of course, because we hadn't brought one from home!
Want one? they're a pound and a half at ICA...
I'll bring some more licorice to scare people at the pub with!

Fancy cheese slicer, eh?
Hell yeah, I'll have one of those! Better make it 2 (if you've got plenty, as we seem to be kitting out our 2 houses with matching equipment and gadgets )

Milla, is this becoming an export business adventure? I can´t imagine life without an osthyvel!
If pickled shark was bad, better not bring any surströmming then

True, surströmming would freak them out! (And me...) Lufisk maybe?
I heard that Kalles make portion size tubes now, perhaps a pack of those?
Three ostyvlar it is! Dang! Give your little finger and they grab the whole arm... And I thought I would get away with a little backpack carry on!

Are you sure that they won't think the graters could be used to mount a terrorist attack on the plane?

Not graters... You'll see...
I have been worrying a little about that - but I will keep them on the original cardboard display pack, which clearly says cheese slicer, and you would have to be very agile to hurt anyone than yourself - the blade part is directed towards the user, not the 'enemy' so to speak.

Have a great time at the meet up! Would be interesting to see when Milla is going to have a crashcourse in osthyvling. In the pub.
I am really sorry that I can´t come for this meet up either
Have a ball

If I'm sober enough to remember I'll be very, very disappointed. Are there any tee, teet, teeto,
Nope, still can't bring myself to say it. Are there any non-HooTooers going?
