Did everyone see Brian doing the national anthem on the roof of the Palace last week? I'd love to get guitar lessons from him. Anyone have his number?

0999 666 999 smiley - biggrin yeah, like i would have his number, and still be c**p on guitar myself smiley - biggrin though I do have a new multieffects smiley - biggrin which i accidentally purchased yesterday smiley - alienfrown seriously, i quite often "accidentially" purchase stuff like that smiley - erm well, i went in the guitar shop... Just to check if nighthoover was there... and then I had* to have a gawp at the effects... and it was so new... and shiney.... and seemingly easy to program (as it turns out it is the first multieffect I've had that I can actually program... which is what i've been doing today)...
so I sort of stood there...
and just brought it before i had realised what i was doing smiley - biggrinsmiley - smiley Brian was good the other day, I listened to the whole thing for that and ozzy smiley - biggrinsmiley - musicalnotesmiley - batsmiley - musicalnotesmiley - biggrinsmiley - ale ???

Well I managed to miss it smiley - sadface Was it at the beginning then? I expected it at the end.. I was called down to watch it just after the opening bit of the mo town bit where roger taylor and phil collins and stuff did a thing before Radio Ga Ga and stuff smiley - erm

Pity about using Roger for the vocals on Radio Ga Ga, although it is his song.. His voice isn't very strong.. But that was sorta good because it added to the erm goodness smiley - smiley

smiley - erm

Aw! Not fair! I was watching especially for that!! smiley - grr

Yeah.... Very um, controversial, one of his, actually...

One where he says "We're gonna get these f*'ing Nazi's..." cleverly titled "Nazis", if My memory serves me correctly..

Oh.. I wanna Taylor Album!! You can't download solid objects yet, can you? smiley - sadface

By the way, your name is too long - it won't even fit in the name part it's so huge!

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

I might change my name soon.....:
I've got the fun in space album with stranger fronteer, on the one CD: i think it was an import...
And then I've got mad bad and dangerous, with Blue rock, on another CD, again its an import I think...
And then I've got Shove it on just a CD. I've got happyness? on Tape, but I'd like to buy that on CD too, i think that is the one with the natzi song on it... just a bit controversal as you say smiley - biggrin I've a smiley - weird copy of Flash as well, which is a USA copy, and has a extra track at the end smiley - yikes though its really not that great a track if i remember correctly smiley - alienfrownsmiley - musicalnote and I can listen to my CD's again now!!!! : after finishing my thesis, i had enough time to remove them all from the broken draw in the bed, allowing me to take the draw out, and repair it.... took all yesterday basically to take 'em out, repair draw, reenforce the draw, and put all the cds back in alphebetical order, and chronological order within each group/artist smiley - groan my legs killed me... groping round on the floor and bending over.... i've still got cramp this morning smiley - yikessmiley - runsmiley - runsmiley - musicalnote

: I still need a new turntable; it got bust in transit up to Manchester from Cambridge, and I've held back buying a new one till I'm safely in Cambridge again: so the new one doesn't go the same way smiley - sadface not that it was that* great a turntable I guess, but it worked well enough smiley - smileysmiley - musicalnote

My Father is a great environmentalist: He refuses to replace anything until it is broken*

*His definition of "broken" certainly wouldn't be the version that the capitalist company's making these goods like to think it is!: It really has to be no longer usible smiley - smiley : the last time (the third I think), the kitchen fridge door fell off, he fixed it with a large nail smiley - biggrin and smiley - wow : it works better than it had for years smiley - smiley : We got a new cooker: our neighbour gave it to us, as they had got a properly new one: strange thing is, the cooker it replaced was also from that neighbour smiley - wowsmiley - laughsmiley - smileysmiley - musicalnote : I don't care much for this audio equipment experts; there is something missing from a vCD version of an album, as compaired to the Vinyl version, in terms of the sound; Yeah, CD is probably better quality, but a good, well looked after vinyl of the same album, has more depth to teh music smiley - musicalnote though I do find CDs, just so much more usible and easy to play around with and store and transport smiley - erm plus I've still not got myself a new turntable smiley - biggrin

Hey not Panicking and co!
I watched the Party at the Palace on telly and saw Brian May do his Guitar solo.
It was soooo cool. Shame some of you missed it. He was on the palace roof too!

Oh yeah, and good point, where was John Deacon?

Actually, I am probably the least worthy here of joining the Queen fan club as we only seem to posess two Queen albums in our house. Dad has the very first Greatest hits album on vinyl (which hasn't been played for ages as our record player is broken, I keep on nagging him to fix it) and the Live at Wembley album which rules! I have been listening to it a lot lately when I'm on my own in the house (my sister is quite little and I don't think my parents would approve of me playing it when she's around because of some of the 'language')

Can I join the club anyway?

Kaz.

Lnaguage? Freddie swears once or twice ("I need my f*ing water, I do'nt care..", "give us the right key, for f*'s sake" - and I know, I'm a great fan of that album *plays it*)

Welcome to the club, and nonsense! about not being worthy to join! I`d join a roger taylor fan club if it existed, and I have no Taylor albums, but I think he is quite possibly the best drummer in the world smiley - biggrin Not a bad singer either, although his "scratchy" voice doesn't make him as good a vocalist as freddie (though look what that kind of voice did for Rod stewart, bryan adams (ish) and the like..) smiley - smiley

Welcome to the club!

I'm off to bed now, and I'm putting live at wembley `86 on and just you try and stop me! smiley - tongueout
