*IST gets out the Atma Weapon.*

[Clipboard shouts "NOOOOOO!!!" at the top of his lungs and runs away.]

*IST in a demonic voice.*
NO ONE KILLS MY MINONS! IT'S TIME TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*IST lunges at Kefka swinging his sword.*

*chases after the trademark peal of laughter. Catches it and puts it in her pocket.*"This may come in handy."

[Kefka] Yep, I recognize that! I also recognize THIS!

[A huge dome of blue light appears, goes boom, and sends IST flying.]

*IST hits the ground, droping the sword in the process.*
I know one spell you don't have, Kefka...
*IST begins muttering incantations and black energies begin to surround him...*

[Kefka casts Reflect on himself.]

[Kefka] Yeah?

[Clipboard] :

You stole that from carbuncle, you sick freak!

This isn't a FF6 spell, Kefka! Reflect won't work!

*The spell speeds toward Kefka.*

[Kefka] [ignoring the spell] Actually, Clipboard, Carbuncle uses Ruby Light on the entire party, which causes the "Reflect" status enhancement. Reflect is also the name of a spell which casts said status enhancement on one person. [The Doomsday spell bounces off Kefka's Reflect shield and starts careening off at some random character. Let's just say Bass just to be specific and because he's got about 7 spare bodies left. ;-)] [Bass] Uwaa! [gets blown up] [Kefka] [to IST] So? Just because it's not from Final Fantasy 6 doesn't mean Reflect doesn't work on it. Once, Reflect even protected someone I happen to know from an attack by an evil deity, independent of any so-called spells cast!! Uwee hee hee~! Listen, I actually have some Idea what i'm talking about. You see, Carbuncle's magicite taught reflect to it's holder. Kefka killed Carbuncle and learned reflect from it's magicite carcass. Kapeche?

I was answering IST's comment about Doomsday not being a spell from FF6. (And anyway, Reflect worked just fine on spells from FF4, FF5, and FF7 on up, didn't it? )

I don't think Doomsday was reflectable in FF9, but I would like to know if it was so if on another thread someone used Reflect, I wouldn't try this spell and have it backfire. Please?
