It's time for the Caledonian Brewery Beer Festival 2004!
The 2-day festival kicks off at 3pm on Friday the 4th June and continues on Saturday 5th from 3pm.
It's a football theme this year, with 12 of Scotland's Best Ales fighting for national pride against a team of 12 of the best beers that England has to offer. Amongst the stars are Deuchars IPA and Caledonian 80/- up-front for Scotland with strong support from experienced players including Fraoch, Red MacGregor and Lia Fial. Scotland's plucky 12 are up against the cream of English ales with Bateman's XXXB, Marstons Pedigree and Timothy Taylor's Landlord leading a formidable squad.
You can help your team to score by supporting your national beers - the most pints of a single beer drunk in an hour will net that team a goal.
