Here's a few seasonal ideas. I think I know a lot of people who would use them.
A candle.
Coloured eggs.
May pole.
Log fire.
Bonfire.
Summer drinks.
Sheeves of corn.
Autumn leaves.
Rising Sun.
Holly.
Ivy.
Mistletoe.
Oak leeves or acorns.
Lots of candles.
People danceing.
Maiden.-
Mother. }Sepeprate and all as one.
Crone.--
Horned man (hunter) or Herne or Cernunnos.
Oak and Holly kings.
Pentagram. (Five pointed star with pentagon in center)
Pentacle. (Pentagram with circle round it)
Sun.
Cross - with Jesus on it.

Some of the religious stuff is probably too contentious.

I think a lot of these would be widely appriciated. I know some of the ones I put there are also spring smilies. How about something for each season or month.
As for the religious stuff. There are a couple of religious pictures. I can think of three off hand.
How about catering for as many religions as possible (even having a religious set), any you accidently miss that are wanted will no doubt be mentioned before long. If you do that, if anyone wants to do anything religious then they just choose the smiliey.
I think all religions respect all other beliefs so no one would be offended this way.
