A Conversation for Smileys: Actions

Why the long faces, people?

Alright! Here goes!
Why do people generaly have a negative outlook on life?
Can't they see beauty?
Why don't they know the difference between love and lust?
Do they know what love is?
What happened to true love, anyway?
Did they just give up on it?

What is it about the world that people find so horrible?
I find these questions interconected and the same.
What has happened to the world?
Is there anyone else out there like me?
Anyone else that finds beauty everywhere?
And why does this make me insane in everyone else's eyes?

This is a conversation to discus what has gone awry with the world, and one in which people like me can relate and talk.
It's like MENSA for romantic thinkers!

Very few of those smileys have long faces (or glum expressions).

Excuse me as I record the resounding whump my head makes as it hits my desk.
Of all the brainless comments possible...
Which makes this an excellent time to note that my positive outlook on life may be caused by an isolation complex that is a result of having a 133 IQ in an area that's population averages about a 93 IQ.
How this works, I don't know.
But if this has anything to do with it (possibly), then be so kind as to tell me.
I am not above learning answers to simple questions.

Are you sure that isn't merely a repeat, given your form displayed so far? Did you think your content and its placing gave a good impression and were in anyway likely to reduce your sense of isolation? If you are not above learning then perhaps you are below it. I love learning new things.
I love learning simple things I never would have guessed before.
What I am trying to do is not change myself in order to fit in, I am trying to bring people like me together to basically have a good laugh over a "what's-wrong-with-the-world" conversation. People like me feel stupid around true geniusses, and isolated amoung normal people. We don't fit in. We are a rarity. A mutation, if you want to be harsh. We have a unique style of thinking that other people just don't understand. Well, okay, so they might understand it, but they just can't see the world through our eyes.
I want to bring these kind of people together, so we won't feel so alone anymore. And bringing us together does make a difference. We can see things that others can't. We can be on the level with the world's problems. We aren't below really understanding them, and we aren't above just ignoring them.
I think people like me need somewhere where they can meet and talk and just be who they really are.
I'm trying to create that place.
