A Seventh Doctor Story

"Come on Ace!" yelled the Doctor over his shoulder as they ran away from the unimaginable terror that was the Vorphxztron.
"I'd like to see you go faster lugging this huge machine after me!", she panted. "Why isn't it working yet, professor?"
"It will Ace, we've just got to get over this hill, and then our friend here will have quite a shock"
The ground thudded as the Vorphxztron thundered towards them. The huge box Ace was carrying over her shoulder, was causing her bomber jacket to rip at the join, so she was holding on to her sleeve it with her other hand. "You owe me a new jacket when we're finished!"
The Doctor grimaced, "I'll find you a new tailor, now come on and run!"
The hill came nearer and nearer as they two travellers ran for their lives. However so did the Vorphxztron.
