I've been working on DVD covers myself for old family videos - as you say, it makes all the difference to a professional looking end product!

Hi Beatrice, thanks for your post, there are programs you can D/Load to do CD covers, but I found them a bit too Techy for me
So what I did was to Insert the picture I wanted from my photo file, into a word document, then Text-Wrap the details of each song over the picture
The hardest part was to get the picture the right size to fit into the CD cover.
I have recently found that you can still make them using OpenOffice, which is a free program, and does the same as Word, which is handy as I recently found out that my copy of Word is a dodgy one?

I did originally try using Word, but as you say it's hard to get the spine details lined up. So I bought some software (Fellowes Neato, about £15 from PC world) which does a great job!

Yea! I tried that OpenOffice and it does the same job, as I never buy programs, its bad enough paying for my Kaspersky security as it is (£23 half price from PC-World)
Its weird really, as I can make CD covers, yet I don't know half of what Word can do
I just use it for writing letters and my Snippets for here
