You need to do a little fixing on the GuideML you provide for the sign... It doesn't link back to where it should, and an error pops up with the bit... says "expecting something or other" Did you try to use the < and > to make the < and > and it just came out wrong? And the link around the table doesn't do any good, maybe you could try a self closed link next to the banner? I donno... I was gonna do that, but I'll check back here to see what fixes you make.

And I'm not sure what you mean, "the link around the table doesn't do any good"???
You can try to put the link tag around the inner table instead. But in my browser that will change the text colour, so I'd rather keep it the way it is.

The thing is... it's not a link (at least in Netscape browsers) when you put the link around the table. It goes to the right place, but just doesn't actually make a link. Stop by my space, and see what I did. But for me, it doesn't turn into a clickable link when the link tag is put around the table.

Looks good, except one thing I didn't say anything about before, 'cause I didn't quite realize it was supos'ta be another way. (Realization came upon me when I got to look at it from work on an IE browser) The thing in Netscape doesn't look like a sign on a stick, it looks like a square with writing in it, and a rectangle to one side of it... I donno why it does that, but I don't really know how to fix it, do I don't really know what to suggest. Anyhow, I hope we get our mushroom for all this trouble I'm givin' you about fixin' the GuideML that is used for a simple little "Vote for Me!" sign (made me thing of the "drink me" and "eat me" in Alice in Wonderland, hehe)

Okay, I read that wrong... I thought you said the vote for a smiley banner looked like a lego brick, which mine sorta' does in the netscape browser....
