Cabin 13 (V) The Lighthouse Bar
Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Jun 3, 2012
I just bought a new cell phone since the old one is so old now that it may break on me any day now - plus I wanted more music in my cell phone
The new one is not one of those posh thingies, though, but a fairly old model. All I need it for is speaking, texting and music. The calendar and the camera and a few features are of course also very nice
Now, here's the thing: I wanted to send all the contacts scored in the old phone to the new one. It should be feasible with bluetooth - but it's not
Not so far, anyway. A friend ad I managed to send all the contacts to his computer (took us hours) but from there it only sends one contact at a time to the new phone
I'm so desperate I'm actually considering reading the manual
PS: Think I'll repost this as a journal

I never even thought of that; when I got a new phone I put the old card in it and all the contacts, about six of them, just was in it. Then I got a new card and they are still in it.
I got a BlackBerry and heard that if you want to add somebody to BlackBerry Messenger all you do is point your phone at a barcode generated by their phone to get all their contacts, or something like that. Probably wronge though, and it might not work even if right for smart phones.

La la la I always start to whisle a catchy tune when I'm nervous.
Our junk press is saying the USA is a land full of crazy cannibals; with one bloke eaten alive in broad daylight and another had his brains fried with a bit of his heart and some beans.
That's it, not going to Vegas now.

Wait a while and it'll be some other country.Flip a coin, pick one a random, throw a dart at a map of the world. Last time, the cannibal was a Canadian by way of China. He worked in a circus, though I doubt the circus was in any way resposible for him being the way he was.
There are crazies everywhere. No country is "full of" them. No country [except perhaps the smallest] is devoid. Relax and enjoy the crazies who live next door to you. Whatever powers created the universe have done you and me an immense favor by giving us free entertainment. Pull up your comfiest armchair, eat some and enjoy the spectacle through your front window.

How would you be safe from the one in a hundred million who turns out to be a cannibal? Seriously. I'd like to know, though it would have to sit in my mind alongside my concerns about trhe neighbor who runs his lawnmower through my flowers.

that's right, PAL
and neighbours mowing ones flowers should be cursed with allergies brought on by those flowers

The flowers get mowed down before they get a chance to bloom. Don't worry, I've since put up a fence.
