Is it any good?

It's great- their second album, Traveling wilburys volume 3. The highlights are "Wilbury Twist", "Where Were You Last Night?" and covers of "Nobody's Child" and del Shannon's "Runaway". classy album.

I know several people Alec, unfortunately they are all very much RL types and not likely to be interested in such an endevour. Shall ask around though.
Thanks for dropping in.
Sorry I haven't been around for ages. Was readying myself for saying goodbye to the very last vestiges of childhood which I did on Wednesday when I became 22.
No more special treatment on the basis of youth for me. Its sink or swim time.

Scott Bennett-AKA Scoop

Scoop comes in puts on 'Original Pirate Material' by The Streets and then switches on the shop's Ultra Public Address system. a Door slides open in the roof and a gigantic megaphone slides down into place in front off scoot's mouth.
"testing 12 testing. Hello, hello, HELLO."
Scoop clears throught of unwanted mucus and spits into Cabin 55 spitoon.
"Hello shoppers, I've had to use the UPA since none of you are in the shop right now. I was just wondering what you all thought of the NME's 50 most important NME bands list and what the NME means to you at this time of celebration for the magazine."
"Also we are having a special get one free get one free offer on Smiths albums to celebrate their victory."
At that moment the sheer noise of the UPA pops both of Scoop's eardrums.smiley - steam

Pierce The Pirate ~ out of Hotblack Desiato mode again ~

'my back pages' was the only song i knew - and thus the only reason for buying this double-cd in the first place

but i was impressed to hear *all* of the tracks actually. The cougar does a great version of 'rolling stone' and ron woods 'seven days' is also impressive.

then there is neil youngs 'all along the watchtower' and even though country is not usually my style i wouldn't miss the cash-family or willie nelson either

all in all: a great double album!

I'm the proprieter of the shop. If you look in the section marked original stuff it will all be there (remember the shop uses its special abilities to organise itself in each customers eyes to their own musical tastes).
If you'd like me to help with your request though I need to know what you consider normal b4 I can tell you about things you would find different.smiley - cool
We're always happy to talk to people and offer musical help heresmiley - biggrin would you like a smiley - coffee or smiley - stout while you shop?
