We should stay in the Baltic Sea for a while. The weather is okay, at least not too hot or too dry

In literature, a black dog can be a metaphor for death. In Harry Potter, as soon as Sirius Black came into the storyline and began showing up as a black dog, I figured he was going to die at some point. he did.

Sirius dies?

Yes, he does. Dumbledore, Snape, and Voldemort die as well. The Weasley clan, on the other hand, just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Snape killed Dumbledore, and was then killed by Voldemort. Voldemort died once the last Horcrux was destroyed. Part of Harry Potter died: the part that was a horcrux containing part of Voldemort's soul.

I thought you *had* read the Harry Potter books.

Only the first few. I thought long about returning back for the rest, but it never happened and I've got enough on my plate as it is so I gave up on them

We are shortly entering the Baltic Sea. Right now we are entering the Oeresund which is the strait between Denmark and Skaane which these days belongs under the Swedish crown but used to be Danish.

On our starboard side you will see the castle Kronborg in Helsingør/Elsinore where Hamlet lived and which guards this seaway into Denmark with its massive canons - so I turned the SEP field on just in case

I didn't know Shagbark was gone. Did he go willingly, or was he told that he must go?

The Blood was in Helsinki across the water from Tallin while you were in Estonia

Shagbark had a falling out with the powers that be and decided to leave. We must respect his decision but it is difficult to get by without a lookout
