Might I also suggest to go along-side such illustrious pursuits as finger-tapping and foot-rocking the oft-practised though sadly neglected art of tongue cluking.

Dear Shea,
Do you have any advice for a left-over-right forward twiddler on whether one's thumbs should be allowed contact during twiddling?

::twiddles non-chalantly::

Shea,

I noticed in the Introduction to Thumb Twiddling that rhythm is missing the first of its two h's. Is this something to add to the UK/US dictionary, or merely a typo.

Happy twiddling to one and all.

We really need a third arm now, as it is virtually impossible to consume smiley - ale while twiddling.

A straw?????

A plastic straw???

Are you suggesting I should imbibe the nectar of the gods (smiley - ale, in case you were wondering) through a plastic tubular device?

I think I'll just grow a third arm, if it's all the same with you!

what if it's one of those curly straws?? I wanted one of those this week, because it was my last week o' school and I wanted to be relaxed for finals, so I brought a beach towel that I draped over my chair, wore a lei, and carried around a tropical fruit drink with a little paper umbrella... and yesterday I broke out the hawaiian shirt too!
