A Conversation for Asimov on Religion

I often hear phantom voices and smell old smells.

My memory is highly selective, but it doesn't take much to spring forth an old sensory experience or an event I don't normally remember.
I know the difference between reality and memory. The memory is usually warmer and fuzzier than reality.
In the supernatural realm, I also remember dreams and premonitions that didn't have any bearing at the time they first occurred, but I remembered them and then had a deja vu experience when the moment in time they foreshadowed eventually happened. It used to frighten and worry me, but over time, forty years, I have found that the 'sense' is relatively useless except for the fact that it taught me to pay attention.
