The Channel Tunnel is a brillient method of crossing, well if not the galaxy, the English Channel, without all that tedious mucking around on ferrys. It has since become a great way of going to the continent and back, since they invented the High speed train called Eurostar, which takes 3 hours exactly from London to Paris. If only the British Government would build a high speed track it would take half the time...
