Ah miserable me....
I am told by some unknown force which I apparently have generated that I requested to leave the wonderful conversation of willem and that my request has been granted.
What have I done?

I don't have a clue what it is you are reading. I will make enquiries so check if you might be receiving any unknown prompts which may be confusing you.
Please don't do anything, you are always welcome in h2g2 and nobody will EVER ask for you to leave here.

Christiane, as far as I'm aware there is nothing built into this site that will put up messages, least of all ones asking you to leave. And I should know as I'm the one rooting through the code.
Please, let Lil know where you're seeing this and when the two of you find it, I'll make sure it goes
