I think the room's are £17.50 so probably bordering on your taxi fare.

Shall I add both of you to the list? The rooms are indeed £17.50. For that you get a single room that forms part of a group of 5 or 10. Each room will have its own basin but other facilities are shared.

OK, the abacus thinks the list (so far) is as follows:

Peregrin
Baggy
Orcus plus S. O.
Tink plus "friend"
Metal Chicken
Ormy
OP
Me (Amy the Ant)
Big Mad Mr. T
Uncle Heavy

I've sent an email to Peta but haven't had a response as yet.

Ta for that. I think you're right MC, that kind of price will be cheaper than a taxi (well I wouldn't want to drive there, no smiley - ale) round to this part of town.

I'm going to phone MMU at about 3.30pm BST today to book 13 rooms (probably - depending on what they say about sharing).

That includes Peta and Mark but there has been no response to my email yet and neither of them is online at the moment.

Just to repeat the info we have. The Cambridge Hall apartments are on the All Saints site. The rooms are £17.50 each.

MMU say: "Opened in 1998, the Cambridge Hall offers accommodation in single bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with a washbasin and a towel is provided on arrival with a change every other day. The rooms are arranged in flats of 5 and 10 with bathroom facilities shared within each flat. Tea/Coffee making facilities are provided in the flat kitchens. For an additional £2 charge guests can be given a phonecard on arrival to enable them to make direct-dial calls to that value from the phones in their rooms."

Breakfast is available but we can probably cater for ourselves much more cheaply and at more appropriate times. Black pudding - the best cure for a smiley - hangover ever invented. smiley - biggrin
